Griffin Jewelry has been part of McKinney’s story since 1985, when Jack and Fran Griffin opened their family-owned store in the heart of downtown. Their vision was simple but powerful: to treat every customer with honesty, provide only the highest-quality craftsmanship, and deliver a level of service that made every visit memorable.

In 2007, their daughter Cherye Walker carried that legacy forward with the same dedication and care, ensuring that Griffin Jewelry became more than a store—it became a trusted part of the community, celebrating life’s milestones with generations of families.

In December 2024, Griffin Jewelry began a new chapter under the ownership of Justine Yi. Justine began her career with Tiffany & Co. while attending the University of California, Irvine, working at the South Coast Plaza location in Orange County. After graduation, she joined Tiffany’s iconic Fifth Avenue flagship in New York City, where she spent nearly a decade serving clients from around the globe. From timeless engagement rings and bridal jewelry to rare, one-ofa-kind Blue Book creations, she guided customers through some of life’s most meaningful purchases at the highest level of luxury retail.

Today, Justine brings that same standard of excellence home to McKinney. Drawing on her luxury background, she carefully curates collections that balance exceptional quality with accessibility—making fine jewelry approachable without ever compromising on craftsmanship or style. Her vision is to honor the Griffin family’s legacy while modernizing the experience, from expanding custom design and repair services to building a best-in-class e-commerce presence.
